LUMEN HOTEL

The Lumen Hotel renovation project was completed for Headington Companies, a repeat client. The goal of the project was to renovate and update the property during the summer between the end of SMU’s Spring Semester, and the start of the Fall semester and football season. This gave the FDC team only 10 weeks to complete the total demolition and renovation of 54 guest rooms and suites, the conversion and addition of 3 meeting spaces, and the addition of a new lobby area. The hotel remained in operation during the entire renovation.

FDC took great care in the coordination of tying into existing utilities (in use), as well as operating around a functioning hotel, restaurant and bar.
